Early Pregnancy of teenagers

As I observed nowadays early pregnancy of teens are very rampant and common. I was wondering what causes of this early pregnancy.I have a Grade V student having an affair and infact they live together now. Are they curious about love affair? Curious of what is sex all about?Usually within the ages of 13-17 become pregnant.I asked myself whom to be blamed? Is it the family, or the sorroundings or maybe the so called "barkada"? Some girls when they reached the menarche, they don't think or aware if their going to get pregnant. Are they aware of it? Or maybe they are lack of information about premarital sex.According to a University of the Philippines study, nearly two million of over 17 million adolescents in the country are sexually active with early sexual debut and unprotected sex.The national demographic and survey supports this fact in its 2003 study, revealing that one out of four women become mothers by age 19, while four out of 10 women in the 20 to 24-year-old bracket have already engaged in sexual activity. The groups identified early sexual encounter and pregnancy because of a number of reasons like peer pressure, media exposure, and inability to discuss with parents regarding sexuality. They later linked early sexual debut and teen pregnancy to early marriage, school dropout, and perpetual poverty.I think we should be vigilant in guiding our teenagers now. They are suppose to be at school to get an education.

HAPPY KADAYAWAN FESTIVAL

These pictures was taken when I was at NCCC Mall.

HAPPY ARAW NG BARANGAY CAGANGOHAN

Our Clan

Last August 22, 2008 we were celebrating our Araw ng Barangay Cagangohan. There were plenty of activities in our Barangay one of those was Ati-atihan, and I am proud to say that our Purok which is Purok Mangga won the Ati-Atihan, and the choriographer was my cousin Elden. We won 10thousand. And the members of Ati-Atihan were actually my relatives, my nephews, neice, cousins. They were very supportive. See the pictures of my relatives joining the Ati-Atihan.

NUTRITION MONTH

Last July 31, our school had celebrated the Nutrition Month. Every sections from Grades I to Grades VI had been very busy cooking on their special menu. The theme of the said celebration was "Wastong nutrisyon ni mommy siguradong healthy si baby". this theme is to promote the healthy lifestyle to the filipinos especially our pregnant momies. to decrease the number of under weight children and malnutrition. also to prevent diseases like iron-deficiency anemia (IDA),Vitamin A deficiency (VAD).....Some parents were coming, but in my section I only assigned my students to group by rows, what food they were going to cook. The Barangay Health Workers were busy too, they cooked food to those who were malnurished students.

The parents were busy cooking, they prepared nutritious food like vegetables and our Barangay were rich in vegetables, abundant of fishes and fruits.

The Barangay Health Workers had also contributed, they cooked arozcaldo for those who were malnourished students. These women were actually helping our Barangay voluntarily.
Let me introduced to you my 35 students during their NUTRITION MONTH ACTIVITY.They were having an evaluation. They look very innocent.

Take a glimpse of my Grade V B students during their Nutrition Month Activity they were very happy and excited as if they owned the universe with their best post lol. I thought teaching was my disastrous experienced happening in my life. At my 3 weeks of teaching I felt so devastating and dying it sounds overacting but that’s how I felt when I am joining in the field of academe. Later, I can feel that I am so very lucky because I can impart knowledge to the students who really needs guidance. I can feel their sincerity when I am having my class discussion they seem very innocent and taboo, why? Because of the scarcity of books, my students had a hard time to understand and comprehend that is why I decided to have a film viewing after discussing my topic and I need to bring my laptop just to show the pictures of what my topic means. I can say now that I am more matured than before I can handle myself.

How do you sleep?

POPULAR SLEEP POSITIONS

How do you sleep? Here’s the breakdown for most of us and how your sleep position tells what kind of person you are.

- Foetal position (on side, legs bent, arms folded prayerlike). Those who sleep this way are tough on the outside, sensitive at heart. More than twice as many women as men sleep this way.

- Log (straight; no bending). These sleepers are social, easygoing and like being part of the in-crowd. Trusting of strangers, they may be gullible.

- Yearner (on side, arms reaching out). They have an open nature but can be cynical, suspicious and slow to make up their minds. Once they’ve made a decision, however, they’re unlikely to change it.

- Soldier (on their backs, arms at their sides). These are generally quiet and reserved. They set high standards for themselves and others.

- Freefaller (on their stomachs, arms grasping the pillow). They’re often brash and gregarious, but can be thin-skinned. They don’t like criticism.

- Starfish (on their backs, arms grasping the pillow). They’re good friends and good listeners.

Ophidiophobia <---I had a fear of snakes

Ophidiophobia-Fear Of Snakes covers the causes, signs, symptoms and treatment, along with self help steps you can take to fight this disease.
Ophidiophobia-Fear Of Snakes
Fear Of Snakes Signs And Symptoms:

Who doesn't fear snakes? Fear of snakes for their venom is rational fear...a healthy respect for the danger some snakes represent. Ophidiophobia is irrational fear of all snakes...those on the ground, in a cage, on TV, even in your imagination. When the anxiety is extreme, irrational, even to panic attacks or disability, it has moved from fear to phobia.
Fear Of Snakes Causes:

While many think fear of snakes stems from some childhood experience, there is some evidence that other causes may exist. The snake is a Biblical symbol of evil, which may tend to heighten the fear in some. Of course, the many snake attacks in TV and movies only add to the anxiety of some.
Fear Of Snakes Treatment:

As with any anxiety disorder, medications can reduce the anxiety symptoms. You should make sure any medical therapy includes psychological therapy to restore a normal fear response and eventually eliminate the medications.
Fear Of Snakes Self Help:

There are several self help anxiety management techniques you can use, including breathing exercises, relaxation imagination exercises and positive self-talk. You can gradually face your fears over several months, using pictures, then caged snakes, then live harmless ones, etc. As you expose yourself to the thing you fear, you begin to realize you're safe.
Total Healing:

Mental Health conditions can be frustrating and painful. We both know there are no guaranteed cures or quick fixes, whether medicine, nutrition, herbs or anything else. Many illnesses are "incurable" from the medical standpoint. Complete healing is possible...including mind, body and spirit...from God. If you want God's help with this or any problem, go to Help From God.

Take A Depression Self Test

Learn if you or a loved one may be suffering from depression and what to do about it. Depression is a disorder that is difficult to self-diagnose. This test may help you determine if you should seek a doctor's opinion.
Take A Depression Self Test

Answer yes or no to the following questions:

1. When confronted with a problem, do you normally feel helpless to resolve it?

2. Have you skipped personal hygiene (bathing, brushing teeth, etc.) more than 5 days in the last month?

3. In the last month, have you spent at least one whole day in bed because you just didn't feel like getting up?

4. Have you lost interest and stopped doing your normal housekeeping routines (dishes, yard work, laundry, etc.) for more than 2 weeks?

5. Within the last 3 months, have you cut or hurt yourself out of frustration or to ease your emotional pain?

6. Do you regularly have trouble concentrating while making love?

7. Have you lost interest in food and eating regularly?

8. In the last year, have you missed more than 5 days work (or 5 days looking for work, if unemployed) because you just didn't feel like going in?

9. Has your employer mentioned a negative trend in your attitude, work performance or attendance?

10. In the last 3 months, have you thought of ways to commit suicide?
Depression Self Test Scoring:

A. If you answered 'yes' to any of the above questions, you should ask a close friend or family member to read Depression Treating with you and help you monitor your life to see if you are showing any symptoms.

B. If you answered 'yes' to 3 or more of the above questions, you should do 'A' above and take a copy of these questions and your answers to your doctor for a complete physical and professional opinion.

C. If you answered 'yes' to 5 or more of the above questions, you should do 'A & B' above and have the friend go with you to the doctor and be present for the diagnosis and doctor's instructions...to help see to it you follow through.

D. If you're taking this test to see if a loved one may be depressed, they may score fewer "yes" answers from your observation and still be depressed. You may be their last connection, so don't be afraid to be pushy. If they have mentioned taking their own life, ask them how they would do that and try to find out if they have an idea when. If they have a plan and a schedule, call 911 and tell them your loved one is planning to harm themselves.
