My Condolence to the family of Tito Jun

WE WILL MISS YOU TITO JUN

Tonight a friend of mine sent an offline message that Tito June died last Monday in Dubai. It is really a bad news to us with Beverly. God, it is really painful to hear that that nice and generous man passed away. It was just 7 months ago that we stayed in their flat and he is really a nice man and he was like a father to us with Beverly and even to the boarders. Tito Jun and Tita Porie treated us nicely as if we were their real children. Thank you Tito Jun for coming into our lives, you really served as an inspiration to us. Thank you for the nice treat, for driving for us and guiding us when we were in Dubai. We will miss you Tito Jun.

Dear God,
Please let Tito Jun enter in your Kingdom
Forgive Tito Jun for his sins.
Make him happy beside you.

Lord please take care of Tito Jun
and let him introduce to my father
I am sure my father will be happy
seeing the man that help us
when we were in Dubai.

Lord let Tita Porie enlighten
and give her full strength to carry the trials
Please take care of her and give her enough strength
to accept all that she encounters
Lord give her good health and and a courage to
take care of their children.

Lord please help the children of Tito to heal the pain
that they suffer now

Assassination of Jaime

Last night we were very nervous because there was a man shot by unknown persons. As we were chit chat with my family we heard 4 gun shot, and my aunts and uncle shouted, as we heard the the shout we run outside to know what happened to my uncle and aunt.They shouted "patay" patay" tabang tabang ambulance og police, so I went home immediately to call policemen and ambulance. After that I ran near the school where the man was there sitting and shouted help. We do nothing because of all were afraid to touched the man. According to them the name of the man was Jaime resinding in Purok Cogon, Cagangohan, Panabo City. We don't know him because its far bit in our purok. I saw tha man sitting on the street with bloody shirt, the blood runs to the street and he looked pale. And I think 10 minutes after the ambulance was coming and fetch the assasin.

According to the family there were two men were knocking on their door and asked wheres Jaime, so the wife just say "tuana na milakaw na". My uncle said "kalooy aning tawhana init pa man baon mo trabaho pa guro ni" .All of us remain no idea why he was shot by two men.Anyway, this Jaime was working in Melsi Company.

Just this evening when I visit the site of Ms. Fil-Am Journey .It captured my eyes to this lady that her face was swollen because she injected cooking oil into her face,so I urgently read the content to know what happen to her face She was a Korean woman addicted to plastic surgery . It is really true that if you have money you can do anything you want and like, but this article all I can say is "Be contented of what GOd given to you,because we created on His image and likeness. No Collection Policy for Public School

The Department of Education is strictly implemented the "No Collection Policy on Public School". Our School head send a memo about this and what can we comment on the said policy. After our school head gathers the information here are the findings.

Report on Feedbacks/Report on Department of Education issuance and policies on school contributions/fees.

Findings:

1. There is no question against "No collection Policy" because it really helps the children to enroll without paying the school fess especially today that we are suffering economic crisis, but how can a school run without a financial assistance from the parent, there is a possibility that the involvement of both academic and non academic of teh students will be decreased.

2. No collection policy is good if the problem of the schools is only minor, but if the school has big problems everybody should contribute.

3. School activities could not be done without money. Some schools could not participate in every activities conducted by the District and in the Division level due to lack of school funds and it hinders the horizons of every learners to learn and it lessen the exposures of children. Some do not have enough money to pay the registration and even the fare.

4. It is good to collect money if the purpose is benefit for children, but if the purpose is just a luxurious thing, collection of fees is not recommended.

5. Education is expensive if there is no collection the agency must provide all the necessities of the school and of the student.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Today I only stay in our house, I kept on sleeping all day, mother went to the cemetery to visit our other relatives who had passed away. I keep lying on my bed, waiting for another day to come, I was so lazy to go out on my bedroom, that's why mother and my sister got mad at me because of my laziness.But I promise to myself that I will visit papa's tomb tomorrow, anyway, my father's tomb was actually closely near at the back of our house, I do not know yet if I will come to the cemetery on Sunday that's tomorrow,I might not be going hhehe unless mother will not go there again. On my room, I keep on browsing to the net and it comes up to my mind what is the "ORIGIN OF HALLOWEEN"[...] I found it so interesting.

Apparently,it came to the point that I questioned myself why there is an All souls day and All saints day, though it's quiet embarrassing for me that I was not able to get the essence of this above holidays though we celebrate this yearly, in short I was taboo on this matter, so I immediately ask google about the origin and the story of ALL SOULS DAY and ALL SAINTS DAY....Click the photo for the complete details...

I MISS YOU DAD

Another day gone by, my gosh its 15 years that I long for a father, I really missed my dad so much. Every time I pray I always include my father hoping that even in a dream will hug him tightly and kissed him. For 15 years I never feel secure because of the absence of my father, I never think that mama can survive without my daddy but thanks God because of your Holy presence we are strong.

Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sins, I renounce Satan and all his works, And I give you my life. I accept you whom I've just received in communion. I now receive and accept you as my personal Lord and my personal Savior, and as we just prayed, fill us with Your Holy Spirit. Amen

Dear Dad,

Dad, you know I prayed to God everyday that He will give us a chance to hug you even just a dream. Even on this all souls day. To let us feel the presence of you dad because we really missed you so much.

Lord I humbly pray that daddy is happy now and guiding us in everything we do. You know Lord I keep asking why do we experience such dilemma? I am sorry Lord, if I ask You like this, really truly had a hard time coping all the things that happen into our lives. For 15 years we never feel his presence even in our dream.

I really took for granted all the things that daddy taught me, now I’ve realized the value that he bestowed on me, I am sorry dad if I am a spoiled brat. Dad if you are still alive you will do the same thing before, you gave all the things that I ask, I know that you sent me in a Catholic school to at least lessen my bad character and I thank you for that dad. I never realized how important to you in my life, now, that your gone I regret the day that I never value the things you impart to me.

Dad I missed you so much, never a day that I forget you, the one who had nurtured me and tried to show me right from wrong. I miss calling my daddy when I needed help and someone to talk to, please God give us a chance to talk to my dad even in just a dream. Angels

What is the best medium of instruction English or Filipino?

In our school we are told to use English as our medium of instruction. Just this evening a friend of mine in DALNET DAVAO.Elmer asked me one question if what medium of instruction do we use in school, I told him that we were instructed to use English as our medium of instruction because some students do not know how to speak English, though Filipino will always remain as the primary language of teaching.

We focused on the usage of English at least our students can interact globally. Since English is a universal language. In order to have a globally competitive learner, teachers should practice English as medium of instruction. If we want the Philippines to shine globally in these fields, we have to accept the fact that the world speaks in English, and not in Tagalog, or in Filipino for that matter

Learning English will give more opportunities to utter our hopes and dreams to the world and give us a fighting possibility to reach them. For me, it is not necessary to be good in English but the most essential thing is how the student learn to comprehend because that is the most problem arise during my period of teaching, students learn how to read the English word but they don't know how to comprehend. That is why constant practice by speaking in English there is a possibility that the students can really interact or comprehend.

Though it is true that learning in the vernacular language will make learning easier.

GLOBAL WARMING"CLIMATE CHANGE"

Have you notice that our earth is very hot and humid? What do you feel about this condition of our earth now? Can you compare this from the past few years? Climate change is already happening and represents one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats facing the planet.

Nowadays we are clamoring that we feel the extreme heat of the sun and this cause by human activities.

When I was in Dubai, I can’t imagine how hot is that place. I think it is 5 times folded in our country, Philippines. Can you imagine how lucky we are here in our country? We are actually not suffering of too much heat. But, look at now, slowly our country are getting hotter and hotter due to some reasons, and what are these? Huge amounts of carbon have been capture. Air Pollution, Land Pollution and Water Pollution. These are the major effect of Global Warming.
The greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences because certaian gases in the atmosphere (water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane, for example) trap energy from the sun.
Now, if we are not concerned with our planet, we should be ready of what will happen to us.

9,000 Thousand Salary Increase for TEachers

Public teachers are asking for a salary increase. As we all know that teaching is the noblest profession among all professions. Imagine without us there are no doctors, no engineers, no nurses and etc. But I think we are the most abuse employee in the government why? Our salary doesn’t compensate. According to PGMA DepEd are the biggest budgets of all Departments. Now the question, where is it now? Look at public schoolw now there are no books, congested rooms, very poor in terms of environment. What can people expect a quality education?

Our Superintendent informed us that there will be an increase of 9,000 pesos, this is probably on October this year, but until now I never heard PGMA declares it. When I heard the news in (ABS-CBN) it is still on its 2^nd reading on the Senate, OHhhhh where they can get the money? Or maybe this is just a diversion because of the fast approaching elections.

There is tittle-tattle that 9,000 is the increase of salary, if that’s the thing, probably teachers are eager to teach well because they are motivated to teach. But I believe teachers are versatile, resourceful, maybe the reasons for those lazy teachers maybe they are dismayed of the government performance.

I strongly agree that there are lapses on the part of the government they did not take it to consideration that teaching profession is a very crucial, critical, and vague in terms of molding learners. It is so blatant that teachers are neglected in terms of salary increase where in fact we are the molder of the youth.

Well, it is like a song that we are waiting for the government to give us justice in terms of salary. You can sing this song if you know it hehehe “ Here we sit like birds in a wilderness, birds in a wilderness, birds in a wilderness. Waiting for the others to come..?”

But I am hoping and praying that the increase of salary for teacher will be approved.

Battle of the Brain..."God vs Faith?

My online friend Deejames was posted an article which talked about what is real? He informed the reader, if we were interested to disseminate the so called "The Debate between a professor and his student on God and Faith,read below:

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.

He asks one of his new Christian students to stand and.....
Professor: You are a Christian, aren't you, son?
Student : Yes, sir.
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student : Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student : Yes.
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?

(Student is silent.)

Prof: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student :Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student : No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?

Student: No, sir.

Prof: Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?

Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student : Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student : No sir. There isn't.

(The lecture theater becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)

Student : Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student : What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light , bright light, flashing light....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student : Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student : Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God.You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure.
Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.

Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student : Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the
argument is going.)

Student : Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavour, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class is in uproar.)

Student : Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?

(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it?.....No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face
unfathomable. )

Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student : That is it sir.. The link between man & God is FAITH. That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

GALOC CRUDE OIL in the PHILIPPINES

Wow cool News.....................GALOC our HOPES?

Are we proud that our country Philippines has a reservoir in Crude Oil? Is it a good news or not?I don't think it is a good news because our government made different contracts to different company to find oil in Palawan.I don't know if I am happy, but I am hoping that this billion dollars of crude oil will alleviate the poverty. If other countries will interfere on this resources that we have and the government allow it to happen, Im sure the scarcity that we are experiencing will be doubled.I hope that this new discovery of millions of gallons of oil on Galoc oil field in Palawan can suffice to our economy. I cannot imagine that our product will be sold to other countries and then it will return to us tripled?

According to Ermita, “The President is optimistic that this new development will positively impact on the administration's efforts to reduce the country's annual oil importation of US $6 billion, and in turn will also contain the increasing cost of food and other commodities"I hope that this statement brings us hope.
I just pray that this new discovery bring us to prosperity.

How do you feel when your boyfriend forgot your 3 year anniversary? I've heard about this issue, when your boyfriend forgot your anniversary he'll be sorry because for me this is the most event that happen in your relationship. Perhaps there are so many things to consider why your boyfriend forgot your anniversary.However, this consideration is not an excuse to neglect your girlfriend.Women are very soft hearted we never ask to treat us in an expensive place, or expecting an expensive present,all we need is just a simple greetings and I think this makes us satisfied.
This is address to all men, why are some men can't remember their anniversary date?Can you give any comments about this? We thought men would remember the anniversary but h men didn't,why guys r like that??they just think about work and others,when they know the girl loves him as a crazy,and they are so caring until the girls accepts the proposal, why so?or Guys don't place significance in symbolism.
On my part, I feel devastating when my boyfriend forgot my anniversary. It is like ,when he remembers your anniversary meaning he loves you and never a moment that you set aside everything, even in his mind he thinks of you. If he forgot your anniversary meaning he never thinks of you, simple as that. If your boyfriend really takes care of you, then why he cant even remember your most memorable day.

Department of Education, Region XI conducted a three (3) day training on School paper advisers and Campus Journalist at San Roque Elem. School, Davao City.The seminar was headed by Dr. Carmencita Diamante, former ES Filipino in Panabo City.

The three day training gave tremendous information on how to write a news article .Ed Fernandez professor from Ateneo de Davao was the first speaker.He discussed about news writing.Ed Fer was very articulate and intelligent in giving the information news writing. He is also one of the judges on International News writing contest held at Saranggani Province.

Ed Fer was a good speaker, he has so many tips that he shared with us. I learned a lot from him. Since that was my first time to attend to the said training I was astounded.

He also mentioned about, one sentence one paragraph. But one thing that it made me curious was the story of Tuesdays with Moorie, he kept mentioning about the story.I remember when he said that," Before you master everything, you need to have trainings and it is a process.

Our second speaker was Mrs. Cabusao an Editor-in-Chief in Mindanao Times. She talked about Editorial Writing.

She has the ability to express her thoughts to the listener. She is really a woman with authority when it comes to her article. She said that editorial writing is one of the writing styles to express an opinion on a particular issues and or events. She explains the topic well.

Moses Billacura was our speaker in Sports Writing. He was working at City Hall of Davao City and a Sports Editor of Edge Davao-The Business Weekly. He thoroughly explained how to write an interesting news especially in sports. He said that sportswriting is a livelier form of news writing. He also talks about the several kinds of sports stories. The best thing that he said was that;

"The sportswriter must not only have a complete master of the language in which he is writing or the instinct called the nose for news”.

We have also speakers from Sunstar, from Cor jesu Colleges, Gemaima Valderama. They are actually expert in discussing the topic. They are not boring speakers. Even it is my first time to attend but I have learned so many things. I hope that when I go home I can apply it.Every word they speak it inculcated in my mind.

One interviewee probably said it best, "They are not separate." In other words, cuddling and intercourse are both good but not as effective in isolation.

What about this one? Is the man that women have ended up with, the best sex they have had? According to the survey, 68% of the women reported yes.

Here is the million dollar question. Do women settle or do they believe they have found the man of their dreams?

What percentage of women are happy in their marriage or relationship? Surprisingly 91% said they were happy which contradicts most statistics that indicates that less than half of marriages report satisfaction. Not sure if the high statistics are influenced by those in relationships and not married.

NEWS: Internet cafes welcome mayor’s probe on Tagum sex scandal

The president of the association of internet cafés in Tagum City bared yesterday they welcome the ongoing investigation of Mayor Rey Uy in identifying the establishment where the spreading Tagum sex video scandal took place.

Eddie Silagan, president of Internet Café Association of Tagum (ICAT), said that they are just waiting for the results of the mayor’s current probe.

During last Tuesday’s meeting of the Internet Café Housing Board (ICAB) the mayor called on internet café operators to police their own ranks into not violating the city ordinance regulating the operations of internet cafes such as the allowing pornography to happen and the minors and schoolchildren to play online games during school hours inside their establishments and others, Silagan said.

The mayor has also urged them to unite and not to fight against each other for the internet user market which internet cafes could share in healthy competition.

At press time, internet cafes in the city are already being subjected to close monitoring by the City Hall after Uy mayor issued an executive order earlier this week creating a monitoring group from his own office to strictly enforce the city internet café ordinance.

Silagan, who is the operator of the Aroma Internet Café along Mabini Street, said his establishment itself had been checked and monitored for any violation the other day.

He said they also welcome the mayor’s monitoring saying that internet operators in the city have been wary now after the sex video scandal of a UM-Tagum female student broke out in news last week.

He said that internet café owners worry over implications of the unknown liability in case the internet café where the cyber sex scandal took place is identified saying that what if the establishment is known but the person who recorded the sex video could not be identified among those working in the internet café.

He said for his establishment alone he has two assistants rotating in the shifts in the morning and in the evening.

Vice Mayor Allan Rellon earlier said that the mayor would not hesitate to close down the erring establishment in this city’s own sex scandal that has already spread to cellphones and the Internet.

On Monday, the UM-Tagum administration blamed the still unknown internet café in the city as the one which caused for the spread of a 20-minuter sex video clip of one of its students who later dropped out.

In the much-talked video clip that has stunned the city, the UM-Tagum young female student using a chat user name “Baby” bared sensitive parts of her body and used sex toy penis while chatting with a prodding foreigner chat boyfriend with username “Clyde”.

Asked on the charge that the involved internet café has used a remote access software in stealthily recording Baby’s orgasmic acts, Silagan said it is a possibility but “most of the internet café owners are only more of entrepreneurs doing business and do not know about it”.

He added though that there are internet cafes in the city which have owners, technicians and workers who might have known about the operations of remote access softwares.

He said that for him it would be difficult for outsider technicians hired to do occasional computer repairs to install these programs without the owners knowing it.

He said that internet café operators are usually not experts on the technical side of the business.

ICAT has also welcomed the call for the amendment of the city internet café ordinance with provisions from lessons learned from this city’s own sex video scandal.

Silagan also reiterated anew his group’s condemnation over the use of the internet café for pornography purposes and the spread of Baby’s sex video clip.

NEWS: Mayor Uy to close internet café in sex video scandal

Tagum City Mayor Rey Uy will not hesitate to close down the internet café found to be the one where the so-called Tagum sex video scandal occurred as the city authorities continue on their probe on it.

Vice Mayor Allan Rellon relayed this to Sidlak after the interagency Internet Café Advisory Board (ICAB) convened Tuesday upon instruction of the mayor to tackle on the sex video scandal involving a young female student of the University of Mindanao-Tagum City and recommend measures to the mayor to address it.

Rellon presided the meeting of ICAB which he co-chairs with the mayor.
He said that the mayor, who is now investigating the case, will not hesitate his discretionary power to revoke or not renew the business permit of the internet café where the cyber scandal took place.

He said the ICAB also resolved and recommended to Mayor Uy for internet café attendants or watchers to secure occupational permits from the City Hall with a certificate of attendance of ICAB seminar.

ICAB has also scheduled a meeting with owners of internet cafes on Sept. 29 at 2 P.M. at the Sangguniang Panglungsod session hall.

In Tagum sex video scandal, the UM-Tagum coed with user name “Baby” on school uniform chatted with a foreigner chat boyfriend with user name “Clyde” who was directing “Baby” to bare sensitive parts of her body before a webcam.

Coed “Baby” commits suicide?

The head-director of the University of Mindanao-Tagum City is blaming the still unidentified internet café in Tagum City which has reportedly taped one of the school’s female students who figured in what is dubbed as Tagum sex video scandal that has been already widely spreading in cellphones and in the Internet.

UMTC director Fely Rabaca said that the internet café involved in recording the involved chatting coed should get the blame and punishment for the spread of sex video clip.

She said though that if the coed were still in the school when school authorities knew of the sex video scandal the student could be immediately expelled for tarnishing the school’s reputation as provided in the UMTC disciplinary manual.

“We could not even issue a good moral character certificate for her,” she said.

“Ang internet café gyud ang maoy basolon kay sila ang nakahibalo sa pamaagi (the internet café should be blamed as they know the technology),” she added.

Rabaca also said that school authorities could not prevent students for what they are doing outside the school.

She bared that she instructed her Office of the Student Affairs to investigate on the matter sometime in the first week of last August.

This developed as Sidlak heard from a group of UM-Tagum personnel yesterday that they heard unconfirmed reports that “Baby”, chat username of the suspected UM-Tagum coed, has tried to commit or has committed suicide by cutting her wrist. “Naglaslas daw”.

Baby has since then fled the city to unknown place.

Rabaca said that per school records as of July 18 Baby was considered already “officially dropped” and considered no longer a UM-Tagum student when the news about the sex scandal broke out in the media and at the city’s session hall last week.

Baby is considered to have finished only her first year in UM-Tagum since she managed to officially dropped her subjects during the first term of the first semester of this school year obviously before whispers about her grew louder inside the campus.

Also, Baby managed to secure an honorable dismissal before her sex video clip has been widely shared through the cellphones of many students in the campus, said Maricar Cainglet, UM-Tagum high school guidance counselor.

She said that she only saw Baby’s video clip in a cellphone last August 19.

The guidance counselor said that the last time she saw Baby in the campus was July 16 processing her papers.

She said she was so surprised and even could not believe of the sex video showing Baby describing her as a “sweet, buotan (good) and intelligent student.”

She learned though about her coming from a broken family.

She added that Baby had at least twice shifted in course while studying in UM-Tagum and was a transferee from a college in Davao del Sur.

Baby had also studied at the St. Mary’s College in the city from 1st year to 3rd year high school and graduated in a town in one of Davao provinces.

The UM-Tagum authorities have strongly called yesterday on people to stop spreading further Baby’s sex video.
